Moondance

Van Morrison (b. 1945)

arr. Ajack (b. 1965)

Well, its a marvelous night for a moondance
With the stars up above in your eyes
A fantabulous night to make romance
'neath the cover of October skies
All the leaves on the trees are falling
To the sound of the breezes that blow
And I'm trying to please to the calling
Of your heart-strings that play soft and low
And all the nights magic seems to whisper and hush
And all the soft moonlight seems to shine in your blush
Can I just have one a more moondance with you, my love.

Well I want to be yours in the moonlight
I cant wait til the morning has come
And I know that the time is just right
And straight into my arms you will run
When you come to my heart I'll be waiting
To make sure that you're never alone
Then and there all my dreams will come true, dear
Then and there I will make you my own
And all the nights magic seems to whisper and hush
And all the soft moonlight seems to shine in your blush
Can I just have one a more moondance with you, my love.
